EXPECTED

I expected my catholic in-laws, my highly educated children and their equally educated catholic spouses to be able to think independently outside of their collective catholic ignorance.

I expected to be treated with respect and dignity. I expected to be able to voice my honest opinions.

I expected my children to be able to rationally digest both sides of this issue, not cling to store bought Italian love purchased by my in-laws.

MONEY REIGNS SUPREME. MONEY IS LOVE. MONEY IS RESPECT. MONEY IS RELIGION.

UNEXPECTEDLY, MY CATHOLICS HAVE COLLECTIVELY CONSPIRED TO DEHUMANIZE ME AND TO ERASE MY 30+ YEARS IF SERVITUDE WAS A BIG WASTE OF MY TIME, MY MONEY AND NY LIFE. CATHOLICS. GO FIGURE.
