If I wasn’t building garages and decks or mowing the lawn or tending the garden or skiing or fishing or padding or coaching or volunteering or maintaining cars or doing snow removal or camping or starting a booster club, designing and installing a xc course, hosting a summer running camp and race what should have I been doing?

Sitting at my mother in law’s kitchen table in silence, not allowed to participate in the conversation let alone voice a contradictory opinion. Keep your mouth shut, do as you’re told, don’t rock the boat, know your place….YOU’RE JUST THE IN LAW. SINGULAR. 3 SISTERS AND ONLY 1 HUSBAND. NOW 3 SISTERS AND ZERO HUSBANDS.
